*IMPORTANT

You cannot close any period if a previous period is open.

Out of Balance Example

• If your period is out of balance you will not be able to close it until it is in balance.

• please run the detailed transaction report (GR 12) for the required period. Then start looking for any account that is out of balance.

Period Already Closed

• If you receive this error message you do not need to close this period.
  
• If necessary you can reopen the period by going to GU 16, Company Identification then changing the period close flag from a 2 (Closed) to a 1 (Open)
