IP Setup Utility

The IP Setup Utility lets end users configure the basic TCP/IP properties of your network devices such as the TCP/IP address and host name, subnet mask, and gateway address.

The IP Setup Utility has the ability to search local and remote subnets for network devices and then remotely assign TCP/IP settings for each new device. This means you can set up one or many print servers using this utility without having to actually visit the printers.

To install this utility:

1. Insert the Software and Documentation CD.
2. Click Install Printer and Software.
3. Click Agree to accept the license agreement.
4. Select Custom, and then click Next.
5. Select the Select Components radio button.
6. Select Local to install the software on the computer you are currently using, or select Remote to install the software on a computer over the network.
7. From the expanded Tools menu, select IP Setup Utility.
8. Click Finish to complete the installation.
